Grammar tip

EnglishAller (to go) is irregular: je vais, tu vas, il/elle va, nous allons, vous allez, ils/elles vont. With places, à + le becomes au: je vais au travail, je vais à la gare, je vais à l'école.
Punjabi (Roman)Aller (jaana) irregular hai: je vais, tu vas, il/elle va, nous allons, vous allez, ils/elles vont. Jagah de naal à + le ban janda hai au: je vais au travail, je vais à la gare, je vais à l'école.
ਪੰਜਾਬੀAller (ਜਾਣਾ) ਬੇਨਿਯਮਾ ਹੈ: je vais, tu vas, il/elle va, nous allons, vous allez, ils/elles vont। ਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ à + le = au: je vais au travail, je vais à la gare, je vais à l'école।

Common mistake for Punjabi and Hindi speakers

✗ Je vais à le travail.   ✓ Je vais au travail.À + le always joins into au, and à + les into aux. “À le” and “à les” are never written.
À + le hamesha jud ke au banda hai, te à + les jud ke aux. “À le” te “à les” kade nahi likhe jande.
À + le ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ au ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ à + les ਜੁੜ ਕੇ aux। “À le” ਤੇ “à les” ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਖੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ।
À + le हमेशा जुड़कर au बनता है, और à + les जुड़कर aux। “À le” और “à les” कभी नहीं लिखे जाते।
